you see this near the bahamas, and the bahamas, hundreds of islands, a long stretch. so it's more the central and kind of north and western bahamas impacted by this, not the entire region but this is a meandering system right now. it only has wind speed of about 6 miles per hour, and when there's not a good steering force, it becomes a little bit more challenges in terms of what that track forecast is. so for the next couple of days, i put some of the different computer models on here. what those are is computers ingest all the weather data and they have different tolerances and put out different potentials. so it kind of sticks here for a couple of days near the bahamas before eventually getting a steers force to the north. that is what we're more concerned about in the united states. from north carolina through new england we had need to watch this, especially for early next week. we have a few days but definitely something that could cause problems. the mid-atlantic and northeast doesn't want that because we're too wet. we showed you the flooding, and it's definite

let's take a look at where it is right now, just north of the bahamas, and as can you see it's moving in the wrong direction. but the national hurricane center forecast does project it to make that turn and start heading northward during the day tomorrow and through friday. here's the official track from the national hurricane center, making landfall somewhere between the carolinas and up toward new jersey, as a category 2 hurricane perhaps, and then degrading into a tropical storm and then perhaps a depression as it gets closer to us. how do we get that track? there are several different computer models. here's the european model, watch this one, completely different. it shows the turn around but keeps it completely out to sea. now that's not what is expected, but certainly one possibility. here's closer to what's expected, this is another model. that model shows landfall somewhere around the carolinas, not what the official track is. you have to average these tracks out, moving up the east coast. the track has certainly slowed down. here's a look at the computer models, this is the
