baltimore city police say that two people are dead and two others are recovering after a string of violence this weekend. homicide detectives are nasty getting a daily cutting attack in west baltimore. police say that 33-year-old jamal diggs was bleeding from multiple cuts to his arms and legs when they found him saturday night in north rosedale. he was taken to hospital, where he died. detectives are also investigating a deadly shooting in northwest baltimore. police responded to riggs avenue around 6:00 saturday evening and found an unidentified victim suffering gunshot wounds to the head. he later died at the hospital. are lookinglice for suspects after a double shooting in northeast baltimore. police were called to the city 500 block of bowleys lane just after 4:00 saturday afternoon. they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach and another victim, 17-year-old male, was shot in the leg. both were taken to hospital hospital with non-life- threatening injuries. state officials have found the body of a kayaker sunday who went missing on the big on power ball saturday afte

we're learning more about the timeline of that scandal that involved alleged gang activity at a baltimore city jail. maryland's corrections secretary told state lawmakers today that he first learned of a possible problem back in 2009. in 2011, a gang task force identified a problem again with the gang activity linked back to that baltimore facility. and a federal indictment is accusing 25 people, 13 of them corrections officers, for helping a prisoner allegedly run gang activity from behind bars. >> the indictments that led to the 13 indictments of those corrections officers, that was after thousands of hours of listening to cell phone conversations, wire taps, trying to piece things together. >> in addition to changing the test for prospective corrections officers, the state will also add cell phone blocking technology to keep inmates from using devices that have been sm smuggled in. >>> tropical storm andrea getting ready to dump a bunch of rain on us tomorrow. more on storm track. >>> coming up in sports, the nba final starts tonight and lebron still holding a grudge. he got news on his kne
