so far in santa barbara the coroners bureau has been involved in this event because 4 victims have been recovered thus far. they have been transported to our coroners bureau, you can only identify them as 2 adult males rescue and recovery efforts have located an additional 4 victims on the ocean floor in close proximity to the vessel and we have dive teams in the water as we speak working to attempt the recovery. i'm not when you are going to be able to recover the bodies as well as anyone that might be within the vessel. the coroners bureau is responsible for identifying victims and notifying the next of kin and determining the cause and manner of death. we have asked for assistance due to the sizable nature of this incident and have received support from the los angeles county coroners office and from the sacramento county coroners office as well. the victims we have recovered as of now will need to be identified through dna and that might take some time. the condition of the remains that are recovered subsequently will determine the speed at which we are able to identify any of the v
