joining me is senior digital editor at ebony.com, jameil jameil lemiue josh barrow and "washington post. as we read the legal arguments around this, do you think the local chapter has a case to be made? >> we have quite a strong case. the university of oklahoma is a public university and arms of the government including public universities can't punish people solely for their speech. now, i would say though that in order for that case to be won, it would have to be brought and if i'm the fraternity member of the fraternity i don't think i want a big public lawsuit over this. so i think it's actually i think it's very likely they will end up going away quietly. they hired a lawyer doesn't mean they'll file a lawsuit. they may try to get some settlement out of the university but the university from the public relations standpoint handled this welcoming out hard against the fraternity. i doubt that david boren and other university officials are eager to cut a settlement. they might welcome a lawsuit. >> well jonathan there's also this sort of you guys can do this should you do it to josh's

and let's bring in josh barrow when he is not hosting three cents on shift, josh what is going on with the loretta lynch confirmation brouhaha? >> well i think this is another pretex for delaying that. for republicans, ultimately loretta lynch will be confirmed but opposing this is a political no brainer for republicans who want to make good with the conservative base in case of future primary battles. and this issue over the abortion provision for the human trafficking bill this has been in the legislation for months. this is a 64-page bill and not that crazy long as pieces of legislation go and i gather the abortion provision was on pages four and five of the law. so it is something that should have been noticed before right now. this is also a long-standing dispute in congress over whether the federal government should pay for abortions but policies come down to the side that the federal government will not pay for abortions. this long-standing lie called the hyde amendment and polls show that americans have a mixed position on abortion and they don't want it fully legal and a major

finally i had to leave my parent's home quickly and i contacted an old friend asking if i could barrow a spare room for a few month -- weeks and that turned into a few months. unfortunately the landlord asked he to leave because i was not on the lease. i went apartment searching and the question of my creditability and the fact my social security number didn't check out i was unable to find an apartment. after searching for three weeks and with no choice and thought was something only happened on television i had to move into my car. i got basic information on how to do that and the best place do is stop like truck stop for protection. so my two puppies and i lived in a car for two and a half months. i was searching for an apartment or room and kept going further out in alabama in order to find someone who probably didn't check closely but was still unsuccessful. my situation improved after i ran into an old friend named mary kate. she had a business building and at the top she had converted to an apartment. knowing my parents very well and being sympathetic to my situation she offered

josh barrow. >> thanks so much. can you talk a little more what exactly to do to try to reduce those global imbalances? if china is weakening or was weakening its currency, what leverage do we have to force them to change? there is talk about whether there should be provisions in trade agreements regarding currency to enforce a regime of currency levels across countries. is that something we should be doing? >> no, i don't support that for the following reason which is first of all i think there is no chance that would be accepted so it would kill the trade deal but the second thing although an economist can tell the difference between exchange rate management and the legitimate monetary policy i'm not sure that a technical legal document could do that in all circumstances. and i don't think that there is anything wrong with monetary policy being used to respond to weak conditions in a given economy even if exchange rate movements are a side-effect of that. pause, from the perspective of trade partners the exchange
