i live with george rogers at 239 bartlett along with the dog and kate ellie likes to play with in our backyards. and first i would like to briefly mention i don't think that this new plan complies with the 312 notice provisions because the 30 days were not provided. the next thing i would like to note is the fact that i believe they ignored the commission's direction to perform outreach for two month. we were in weekly contact with david campos' office and in constant contact with others and until may 3, 2011, exactly two months after this commission's last hearing, we did not receive any additional information from pollo campero. indeed, i emailed and left voicemails for who sibl the president of the franchisee and after initially telling me they had not made a decision, he did not respond to the emails or the telephone messages. i understand that others were not contacted and we did not receive the new plans until may 7, 2011, 12 days before the may 19 scheduled hearing. so i do not believe that pollo campero complied with the spirit or letter of the commission's march 3 direction.

i just wanted to acknowledge that i have visited my local library at bartlett and 24 with my granddaughter, who is just an infant, but at my surprise, rediscovering the library myself, but also, when i pulled up with a stroller, there was already a line of strollers for folks in my neighborhood who already know about the many activities that are available there for young families. i just think that this is such a great introduction to the library again, i have rediscovered my local library with my granddaughter, which i, sort of thought that she needed to be around kindergarten or first grade, but that introduction to reading and activities and visiting the library can happen much earlier, and i am very excited to be able to go with her on a saturday or thursday afternoon when they have those programs. i think that is a great addition the i had never experienced at the library, but i can also share that with my granddaughter and tell my own child that there are programs there for young the ones before they get to school, but it is the great introduction into the library as a supplement and

my second question is to explore the constructive suggestion we heard earlier from stacey bartlett about those kinds of ideas. i think we need as many ideas as we can. clearly, there is a need for equality middle school in the southeast sector. we should spend more time to think about how to make that happen instead of picking out isolated neighborhoods to assign across town. i do like this iteration of the plan because it is a gradual process. i recognize that the very big difference is these families who are in kindergarten now suddenly are realizing that possibly the middle school choices are not what they were when they first signed up. i think we need to our knowledge that. -- acknowledge that. the implications are different depending on when you enroll. i do have a couple of questions about the pattern itself. rosa parks and clarendon are not contiguous to presidio, but there is existing staff who teach japanese. clearly, there is curriculum reasoning for assigning those families to presidio. my question is about lakeshore. is there a curricular reason? some of these neighborhoods,
