this is the bottom of your screen for the bay, the south bay and in the south of the bay. all right. now, that that is explained. we're looking over the rest of the bay and traffic flows smoothly along the peninsula and show you where there is an issue. southbound 280 continues to have that closure from sixth and king down to pennsylvania. this stretch right here getting away from at&t park and the giants play tonight, for example, as christina is telling you a good homestand and folks get over towards sixth and 101 which is our alternate and nothing unexpected but she could see how surface street traffic will be a major issue throughout much of the rest of the day hours in the bay area, as well as after those games. be careful giants fans. over here a smooth drive through the tri-valley and not a big deal because the volume is very light right now coming out of the altamont but steady flow for 680. a smooth flow for the rest of the approach coming across the carquinez and get away traffic will start earlier, probably around 10:00 or 11:00. we'll start to see more traffic

bodega bay, 85 to 62. now we want to delve a little deeper into the microclimate forecast as we head throughout thursday. yes, it's going to be warm. it's going to be close to record-setting heat in the south bay. you'll still have plenty of sunshine but it's not going to be as hot. we'll cool off by 2 to 4 degrees. san jose expecting 91. peninsula also down by about 5 degrees. belmont, 89. palo alto 90. instead of low 90s in san francisco, we'll go with 81 along the embarcadero and potentially upper 70s throughout the marina. you still don't need a jacket if headed out to san francisco tomorrow. if you are headed up to wine country, find some cool beverage to sip on because you can still see the heat will be up there. 90 expected in napa. and for oakland, 85. the tri-valley, 90 in danville. also 91 in pleasanton. walnut creek expecting temperatures in the upper 80s. so once again in the scrolling seven-day forecast, temperatures will drop off even for the interior locations by saturday and sunday. that ge
