highs today in the mid 50s all across the bay area. very chilly temperatures. t at least it will be sunny and a look ahead to the morning temperature which will be freezing. in the north bay, 30 degrees, 32 in the tri-valley. elsewhere we'll see temperatures slightly above freezing, but expect a hard freeze, especially in those valleys tomorrow morning. we'll take a look at the rest of the forecast and look ahead to our next chance of rain in a few minutes. let's check in with mike to see how things are going on the roadways. >> if you have a frozen turkey, a reminder, you have to defrost that. that's a rude awakening for some first-timers. an easy drive for the north bay, picking up company and puddling on the roadway. we have slick conditions in many spots. highway 37, a little slowing out of vallejo. not for the upper east shore, not a major concern out of pittsburg and bay point. we have a bigger backup south 680 at highway 84. a motorcycle involved in a crash and now it's in the center divide. no injuries reported. but slowing. we'll bring you more details

cool sight to see and we're looking for some cool weather to move into the bay area heading into thanksgiving. now as we take a view from above down to the bay bridge, we can see a clear shot there, if you're over in emoriville looking across, it's kind of hard to see. the fog is patchy and more widespread as we head towards sunrise and temperatures right at 50 degrees in oakland and san carlos. let's take it hour by hour in san jose. a cool start a 49 and then dipping to 48 degrees. we see those temperatures holding steady and not rising as quickly as yesterday. won't be as warm, but still a lot of sunshine at least for the south bay and highs reaching into the low 60s. that was after yesterday. hitting the low 70s. so, it will be a much cooler with much more clouds moving in. we're getting ready for some rain. it begins tomorrow morning and could impact the morning commute. but as far as some spotty, light showers becomes more widespread by 9:00 and we also will have some bouts of some heavy rain moving in. this may come in as a couple of rounds of rain as we see the cold air starting to ro
