some of the fog in the cloud cover east bay shoreline here. this will be filtering in with some fog later optimistically somewhat partly cloudy. partly cloudy into the overnight temperature check. not moving too much. we drop out of the 60's into the 50's. but that's going help reduce some bay area fog and even in those inland areas, here's how it goes. we have all this moisture at the surface temperatures drop and per ticket to get a clear patch. that's that radiational cooling and temperatures reach the dewpoint boom. you get that inland fog in the east bay up to the north bay in some of the valley's even on the santa clara valley as well. so it's not our tippett typical advection fog that we get. this is driven more by the surface moisture because of the recent rains. we get into tomorrow morning. once the sun starts to join us. depending how much clearing will go into the clear temperature check again across the region. we've got the lower to middle 60's. coming up a little bit here. we'll take a look at what that week day forecast looks l

for those of you in the north bay inching its way down to the san francisco peninsula and east ba shoreline by thursday night and then it's going to be an overnight storm or saturday morning could still see some lingering showers. and even for those of you in santa rosa could notice a few more showers by your friday afternoon to early evening, but then drying out friday night with that cloud cover sticking type. but then clear conditions and drier conditions by next weekend. but this week's storm really going to benefit the coast. about a quarter of an inch of rain or less than a 10th of an inch of rain for the rest of us. but we are also going to notice tonight, though, an increase in that dense visibility where we are going to see some that to leave fog spreading into our north bay valleys once again in santa rosa and conquered little bit of improvement around the bay area shoreline. but we are going to notice that low fog bank once again so far national weather service holding back on issuing any dense fog advisories but temperatures. right now, widespread 50's and 60's half moon bay 66

east bay shoreline all covered up expected to stay like that. probably for the overnight hours. next 3 hours. well, we're going to keep some rain showers still in there. much of the bay is going to be treated to drizzle or just cloudy skies kind of waiting. it's really around the santa cruz mountains and down in the southern peninsula is maybe we'll see that last bit of some rain showers left over this little clumping collection out here, which is actually falling apart towards the last couple of frames original notice, but there is plenty more to be had. so we'll be talking about upper 50's for lows tonight. mostly cloudy fog san francisco kind of mirroring that in oakland, even san jose, you might start to see some fog as well by daylight. we've got rain and showers early just about put that to bed drizzle and fog late for tuesday. wednesday clearing some minor warming happening. then but it's late on wednesday thursday. we do this whole program yet again, this is a fast mover which will see in the models. then the weekend we take kind of a break on saturday. and then sunday fo

other than that, upper 60s for most inland valleys, the east bay, back in the middle 60s for the bay, shoreline, san rafael, 69. there are some 70s, like middle 70s for lincoln and mendocino county. and there are a lot of storms in the pacific right now, they just all happen to be going to the same place. watch that long stream there, this has been quite an impressive two weeks. with atmospheric river after atmospheric river, pointed at the pacific northwest, from seattle, north of the river, preparing for flooding on the major rivers in the next 24 hours, and another coming into british columbia as we get into monday, it has really been incredible to watch. there is nothing happening here. the atmosphere has locked in this pattern. if you look at where the rain is going to fall through the next weekend, you can see it is all up there. this looks like la niÑa. when we show those maps for how la niÑa is supposed to do but we bring rainfall throughout the winter, it looks just like that. that is fitting of this notion. when we look at the long-range forecast, if we let this play out, speeding it

the east bay shoreline is low 71s. low 70s in santa rosa. mid 70s in lake and mendocino county. happening in the pacific right now. the wide view out there. look at that long stream of clouds. that's being fueled by another atmospheric river. one of several pointed directly at the coast of the pacific northwest from seattle northward. primarily into british columbia. watch the future cast. a lot of rain from that one today. here comes the next one. that takes us into monday and tuesday. that should be the last one for a while. but as long as that's going on up there, all the rain is staying confined. and we take the future cast all the way through next weekend. and we watch where it rains where you can measure it. it's not here. and it continues to be up there. and this is going to be a long pattern of pretty sunny and warm. and just to look out farther. we'll let this play out for next week and a half. there's no promising sign here going out well through that first week of december. so the seven-day forecast has a lot more of the same. temperatures for our micro climates. thos

it gets chilly in parts of the north bay 38 in santa rosa the same in lakeport around the bay shoreline upper 40. so first thing tomorrow morning if you're out and about early on the heavier jackets certainly needed but the afternoon it's really shaping up. to be a beautiful end to the weekend a lot more sunshine compared to today and temperatures just slightly warmer than we were earlier this afternoon. a lot of mid 60s on the board 64 for high in oakland tomorrow 62 in the city 64 and san jose up to about 63 for the afternoon high in rosa then the rain returns starting monday night and lingering into tuesday morning on the storm in back scale does a level 2 moderate system. we are tracking we'll find showers some heavy at times so scattered downpours as well. a wins do turn rather gusty especially monday afternoon and monday evening, and it looks like currently the highest impacts will be felt north bay in terms of rainfall and those wind gusts. so future weather monday those clouds will thicken back up again by 4 pm. we're starting just to see some light showers begin to move into th

san jose peninsula, east bay shoreline not included in it yet? maybe you will have to be. this morning you are. it was kind of tough to see your way across the san mateo bridge this morning. right now it is clear. as we check out the other bridge we would normally think of as having issues, there are no issues. this is a totally different kind of fog. this is not coming in from the pacific. this is the fog that builds and through the central valley and creeps into the delta coming in the back door. it can be some of the most difficult stuff to drive through. tomorrow morning or early morning, there is your head up. santa rosa has some fog, oakland and concord do. if we look at the visibility map we are down to 3/10 of a mile. those numbers say it is about half a mile in santa rosa. morning lows tomorrow will go back down pretty much into the upper 40s and low 50s. we will watch daytime highs rebound into the mid-70s. temperatures still feel great. we get rid of the fog by noon and it is mainly a nice day with a few high clouds. we don't really have significant rain events
