noticing that marine layer influence along the coast and east bay shoreline. but here is a look at this storm. this one is going to be a cold core winter-like storm. that's going to bring us a lot of instability to start our workweek monday, dropping temperatures to as low as about 5 to 15 degrees below average. and then by tuesday, light scattered rain becoming more widespread by around wednesday morning. that's when we're going to notice that storm exit. but then by wednesday night through thursday morning, we're going to get some more scattered showers. this one is going to last through around friday until we start to dry out by saturday morning. so we're expecting about a quarter of an inch of rain or less from monday through tuesday night. but then we're going to nearly double those amounts by wednesday into saturday with that second stronger storms. so hard to believe that we're actually tracking may rain, but i mean, it looks like this year one for the record books kind of all over the place. so i'm not surprised. and mother nature's like during the so

temperatures right back in the heart of the bay have a seeing low 70s along the east bay shoreline.id-to upper 70s through much of sonoma and marin county. topping out at 85 today further north.e to how things will change is to watch the futurecast. even though it is mainly high clouds the next few days, we actually do see something a lot more like a summer pattern fill in as we get into wednesday. that is the marine layer filling back in the bay. it typically happens when you get your bigger transitions in temperature, going for much warmer inland and not necessarily as warm in the bay. that is certainly what we will see play out in the 7-day forecast. you can watch that for san francisco and oakland. you will get back to 80 in oakland in just a little while. we with the temperatures get to 90 in san jose by the time we get to thursday. will be mid 80s for the north bay valleys. when we look at the microclimates for the warmest inland east bay communities, low 90s comeback by thursday. we keep temperatures comfortable, and in the 60s at the coast throughout the entire warming trend
