bay in the county. and now we see with some storms still rotating around the bay area. they're actually rotating back toward much of the bay area. so instead of coming out of the westeaded east, these storms actually a rotating in this direction coming back in toward the bay area. now they're going start to drain out and lose some of that energy. but you see pretty good cells there in parts of san in the concord over the mountain top there, the diablo range. those storm with the potential for a couple more lightning strikes out there. maybe a little hail to have some gusts down below. but overnight tonight, the models start to pick up on these cells. you can watch they rotate back toward the coastline, then begin to fall apart as the sun sets. and there you go as we head toward about 10 o'clock or so. i think most of that rain will come to an end. but overnight tonight is not going to be the rain, but maybe a little drizzle developing along the coastline could keep things a little bit. damp early on tomorrow morning. overall, the pattern about shift gears again, that low is going to move out of town. high pressure, going to start to sneak in as early as tomorrow. i

let's start with the south bay light showers right now for the most part in the santa cruz mountains, an area of heavy rainfall west of fremont up towardsity. that's going to move to the north northeast. so really just skirting right past the majority of fremont resulting in an uptick in rainfall. very briefly there. potential of some cloud to ground lightning along with that one. also, some thunderstorms stretching from castro valley right up past walnut creek, san ramon and danville on up towards highway for just east of concord. and then those showers. also you, as you can see on the peninsula, very, very light sprinkles in areas like san francisco currently a little bit of rainfall picking up right around richmond in point richmond, especially. further northward. northern warren county in the sonoma county, lighter showers, heavier rainfall. once you get up into mendocino and lake counties pretty active morning on all the system is stalling out right to our west in showers are pushing to the north and east. so what's going on here? it's a lot of our inland east bay and south bay, neighbors, not really tapping into so much energy her
