thank you, lena some east bay regional parks will remain closed today due to the heat abc 7 was at redwood regional park in oakland east bay trail system and parks will be closed today facilities where creation areas and shoreline parks will remain open though east bay regional parks plans to reopen its parks tomorrow if the temperatures cool off. and for the second day in a row the heat slowed down bart service bart says weather conditions led to a 10 minute delay for trains on the antioch line. heading to the sfo yesterday afternoon. there were 20 minute delays in that same area on saturday. bart says they need to slow those trains when temperatures get above 100 degrees because that excessive heat can warp the rails. the area beach is provided a welcome refuge escape the heat this holiday weekend and thousands of people headed to the coast to cool off. there was even a cliff rescue at one location. there's abc 7 news reporter cornell bernard. oh my god. yeah, so hot jose medina and his kids traded the extreme heat of santa rosa for a cool spot in the sand on ocean beach in san francisco golden down our cliff at fort funston.
