it is inside the martin luther king junior academy school in the bayview district of san francisco. so it's a room inside of a larger school, and it's meant to serve about 500 kids and families who attend this school. now, this is a joint y-m-c-a school site. so the ymca director was telling us about how this program works. people come in, they grab one of their bags, and then they have their selection of produce. there's apples, oranges, lemons, even fresh mangoes there at the bottom. and then there's the vegetables you see here. green peppers, potatoes and carrots. and then people are allowed to get one of the meat items that they have here. they have meat, eggs, milk at the bottom or dinner item. and then over here at this pantry area, they're able to pick a couple of items off the shelves. now a families will be coming here about twice a month to get some free groceries here. through this opportunity, we spoke with the ymca director who explained the need in this community. >> we've seen just at the bayview ymca since the 2020 covid pandemic. i mean, we've run a food bank ever s
