any sense of what the mood is like in bedminster tonight?, anderson, we've really seen a shift in tone, particularly from trump's allies. as we reported last night and we were hearing kind of defiant tone from many of the allies. they were pushing back, saying, this is all political, this is election interference. they were saying they were, quote, jacked up. that's what one person told my colleague, alaina treene. that is not what we are hearing from allies. we are getting notable silence from many republicans. in addition to that, we are also hearing more of a concern. the political aspect, they understand this could help them. they believe this would help with fundraising. one person told me this is great it happened before the end of q4 because they want to get in the fundraising numbers after they saw after the manhattan indictment. however, there are also a lot of skepticism now. they've seen the charges. they know these charges are very serious. and there's a lot of contemplation about what this means legally. how is this going to pla

what do you make of the special counsel's apparent focus now on bedminster? do you think that we could see charges filed against trump in my own home state of and jay? >> it's possible. this episode we have a don't trump showing a document, i don't know that we have the document, but one thing that is really interesting that i think undercuts his story about this was all bravado, is the language that jack smith uses in the indictment. he doesn't just say the donald trump is saying these things. it says, he showed a document to staffers. and when there is a trial, we're not just going to listen to the state, we are going to hear testimony from the witnesses who were there, who will say whether they saw this document, and so, if so, you're really right to wonder, why they aren't filing charges in new jersey, because it's a separate crime to disclose classified information. even if he didn't show them the document, just howling the months and the document could suffice. i don't know why they haven't filed it. it would require a separate indictment from the one i
