smith, nbc 10 news. >> everybody loves a parade, as a lot of people came out to see the oldest thanksgiving parade in the country. ♪ nbc 10 along the benranklin parkway for the dunkin' donuts thanksgiving day parade. a true philadelphia tradition as massive balloons and floats made their way down a crowded parade path. the kids had great seats and were bundled up for the parade now in its 95th year. a lot of people decided to spend thanksgiving outside. with this weather it makes perfect sense. sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s. shoppers filled the christmas village today. and what a difference from last thanksgiving. take a look at our weather on this same day last year. these shoppers in hafrtown had to dodge sleet and rain. thankfully, none of that this year. sheena, we are so thankful for the weather we had today. >> yeah, jacqueline, especially because it was warmer, so you probably did not need your heavy coat and really probably didn't need your coat for long. nice and dry across the area, perfect travel weather. not even locally, but all the way up into new england, down into the southeast, but the big story where we are
