joining me now is martin family attorney benjamin crump. a very interesting day tomorrow. how does the family feel about the potential for george zimmerman being released on bail tomorrow? >> well, we feel that some crimes are nonbondable offense and second-degree murder is one of these, piers. however, every citizen who's accused of a crime based on our united states constitution has a right to a bond hearing. so the judge will listen to both sides and make his decision on whether bond is appropriate at this time. the parents of trayvon are willing to accept the rule of law. >> we know from mark o'mara, george zimmerman's new attorney, that an offer was made to trayvon's parents on behalf of george zimmerman for him to meet with trayvon's parents. that offer so far has been declined. tell me why, and also tell me is it a possibility this meeting could happen in the future do you think? >> well, piers, let me first say that sybrina fulton is a christian woman. her and tracy are good people. so it may happen, but we don't think it's appropriate at this time. in fact we thin

. >> benjamin crump i have heard plenty of lawyers in that situation and they always say if it comes to court, if it comes to court, it seems as though mr. zimmerman's lawyer has resigned himself to the idea that this is going to end up in a courtroom. >> mr. o'donnell, i think it is one of those situations, thanks to really the media and shows like you, the evidence has been coming out slowly but sure ly. we didn't get any answers from the police department or the state attorney's office. we have gotten flfgs watching your program and people who said we just want the truth to come out. it is one of those situations. you look at the videotape and hear the 911 tapes, after you look at the phone logs from trayvon's phone records, after you have the witnesses coming forth, it's just one piece of evidence after another to show at least that this is a matter that should be decided in a courtroom, not by police department or a state attorney saying, you know, he said self-defense so we are going to let him go free while trayvon goes to the medical examiner. that's the tough thing to the de

benjamin crump, thank you. want to bring in our legal team tonight. criminal defense attorney mark geragos and senior legal analyst jeffrey toobin. jeffrey, why would a prosecutor decide not to go forward with the grand jury? >> this is the way they do it in florida. there are two ways you can go. basically the prosecutor bringing charges. that's the way it works most of the time in florida. or you can go to a grand jury which is used only for especially complex cases. i think the prosecutor deserves a lot of credit. in these high-profile cases the prosecutors always get in trouble when they try to do something special. this is the routine way to go. this puts all the pressure on her. she doesn't have to -- she can't pass the buck to a grand jury. it's all on her. but this is the responsible decision she made. >> mark, how much does public pressure play in a case like this? what kind of an effect does it have on a prosecutor? >> i think it always has an effect on a prosecutor. i couldn't agree more with mr. crump and with jeff in two ways. part of thi
