that we do have some storms that are firing up, now the main activity is farther to the north, in berks county and the lehigh valley and the poconos. and we have a severe thunderstorm warning for east burg, montgomery county. >> some of of these storms have 60 miles per hour winds and hail. that line is moving at 20 miles per hour. and if it continues on that movement. it will be moving to philadelphia. it will hit at 7:30 to 9:30 tonight. this is after a hot and humid day, the high is 93 degrees today and this is our 13th day of 90s, we have only had two heat waves, the heat index make its feel like 97 degrees in wilmington and dover 100, and millville 98 and the shore the heat index is in the low 80s, satellite 6 along with action radar shows most of this activity is to the north, and the future tracker showing we'll have a broken line of scattered storms around here at 7:00 tonight mainly along i-95 north and west and w89 30 that line will shift around trenton and wilmington, we'll see a lot more activity and at midnight a lot of storms die out by the time they reach the coast. the e

as we look at satellite and radar we have a couple showers popping up in parts of berks county headingthe lehigh valley. if you're in and around allentown on poconos you could get a quick shower as it passes north and west and overall most of russ dry. we're awaiting a front to the south in an area of low pressure. this right here will be pushing in for the beginning of the weekend. you can see this kind of explosion so to speak of some of the tropical downpours new south carolina will march up the eastern sea board late friday night to saturday morning. it's been fairly dry. chance of rain increases especially as we get into the week, upcoming weekend. 50% chance tomorrow you'll be hit by a downpour or thunderstorm. 100% chance area wide saturday for the first part of the day and 60% chance sunday. >> as we look at future tracker early tomorrow morning mainly cloudy tomorrow. clouds increase south and east and there you could see downpours. they'll be scattered that continues until 5:00. truly tropical downpours arrive 7 a.m. friday. we could voo very inches of rain first thing day. a
