c berkeley's plan to build student housing ktvu osama gash. you've been out there in people's park for a while. so what's it like right now? well there's no sign of police. there's no construction crews out what we do see is this barricade made from tree branches and logs and really what happened was after the protest yesterday evening, people gathered, they picked up the trees that have been cleared away by construction crews. and together they formed this self made barricade out of them to hopefully at least attempt to try to slow the progress of the construction. they also a few people pitched tents and we're sleeping here overnight. they're just coming out of their tents this morning, but really, what we find here this morning is a lot to clean up. you can see workers this morning, cutting down the bolts that held the eight ft high fence panels together and clearing them off the streets and sidewalks. they found construction equipment with the windows shattered and some equipment was spray painted with anti police were feeding. one woman a
