she's a resident of the house of berkley. she's volunteering with the o v cc through the ends of july. she learned yesterday all that remains on her path to senseship is one more step. i also like to thank our policy analyst attorney who is the supervisor and i neglected to acknowledge ms. marianne during the protocol item where she works with the police department to insure that everything t is committed with. i addressed the analyst recommended reductions to marry lee's reductions. mayor lee's occ contained no reductions and it contained the - under the city healthy and clean he ordinance any car 12 years or older must be retired. the board of supervisors proposed two cuts. first a $37,000 attrition cut to the chief investigator for 2014. i'm still in the process of filling that position. i clarified with the analyst a realistic timetable and the attritions cut was reduced to 16 thousand. the second proposed cut is $27,000 which would replace one of our vehicles. we only needed one car because each car has only 55 thousand

this month the museums presents the berkley years and impressions on the water celebrated the america's cup. the museums will present in september the arts of adult and beyond 1950 to 1990. in october david created an "x" bit and has highlights which has vivid landscapes. in and they will present sweden month accomplished artists. and they have an celebration of the bays long established exhibition. and we have lake george that will be fold will i another collection. it represents one of the biggest single gifts since 1937. that brings important works by jasper john and frank stella. for the first time as it's sole venue. the impression will open up in the spring and presenting 70 small prints from renting way and many, many more. the art museum has diverse exhibitions. another core part of our mission is to provide education for all of the public. during this past fiscal year the education programs served over 2 hundred and 50 thousand persons. this year marked our 9th season and the number of artist and collaborating arts it continue to represent sfra san francisco. we're going to con

no other injuries were reportedr bay area headlines, berkley firefighters worked quickly to put out the flames this morning. guests woke up to smoke and flames just before 8:00. everyone did get out safely. the fire destroyed one room, damaged at least five others. >> a chemical spill at a downtown san francisco restaurant prompted evacuations. fire crews found hydrogen chloride in one of the bathrooms. two employees were taken to the hospital to be treated for exposure to the fumes. >> remarkably no one hurt following this nasty crash involving three cars in san rafael. just before 4:00 at the corner of 2nd and e streets, that volvo suv landed on the hoods of the other cars. we don't know exactly how it happened. at one point several lanes were blocked. >> nearly 100,000 state workers would get pay raises under a proposed contract. governor brown reached an agreement with the employee union. under a new three year contract, workers would get 4.5% pay raise by july of next year. and also guaranteed no furlough days and protected healthcare benefits. workers will vote on that in two week
