and that's what it looks like to me, berkshire hathaway is doing. i want to clear a few things up that i think it's important for people to understand warren buffett doesn't used stock buys to sell messages. when he trims apple, it's not him trying to let everyone know it's expensive berkshire hathaway is 12 holdings the top three quarters of the entire stock portfolio, $229 billion, the market cap of burke sure is 540 billion and cash position is 150 billion. you have to trim it if you're expected to be a long-term hold holder the top three holdings in berkshire stock's portfolio account for two-thirds we're talking about coca-cola, american express, kraft, heinz and bank of america. they have to do stuff like this. the only other thing i think is worth point out here, just because berkshire hathaway sells something doesn't mean they have an edge on anybody else. berkshire's entire position in john deere, the stock is up almost 300% since he liquidated it and i don't think he has any -- it happens to berkshire just like it happens to the rest of us
