tropical depression fiona missing bermuda. tropical wave there has a 60 percent chance of developing into hermione, i had that pronunciation wrong earlier, if it gets a name it's probably hermione because we've got gas tone over by the coaster of africa. in terms of tropical depression fiona looks like it's going to degenerate into a straight low pressure center and miss bermuda. we'll see if any moisture makes it to the eastern united states. if hermione forms it looks like this could be a tropical system that goes near the turks, maybe the bahamas and maybe miami next week. that's something to look out for. the keys might also be affected. tropical storm gaston does look like it will become a category one hurricane. the indications are to bring it up to the east of bermuda and to just cut up into the central atlantic which is a flies way for hurricanes to behave. hopefully that's the way that works out. sunny and beautiful a today, low 82. thursday just a tad humid with a high of 89 and then hot and more humid on friday, a h

we have a high pressure system, the bermuda high, that likes to hang out near the island of bermuda. every once in a while, here what is it does. we have plenty of flow of moisture coming in off the atlantic. the high pressure system is bringing sinking air and that puts a cap or a lid on any thunderstorms developing. so our chance of that today is very slim. once you get out from underneath the influence of the high pressure system, we have what we call the ring of fire because that is where finally we can get a little bit of what's going on and we do have the thunderstorms that will develop. and the backup into the mountains and on up into pennsylvania. right around our area, we couldn't rule out a stray thunderstorm but our chances are pretty slim. we may see a sea breeze front developing in from the beaches. that may roll up into wayne county, samson county. for the most part, it will be a pretty quiet day for us. we'll care question the pattern through the weekend. that moons that heat is really our big thunderstorms. -- that means that heat is really our big story and not after

tropical depression fiona missing bermuda the way things look at this point.n we have a tropical wave to the east of puerto rico that has about a 60 percent chance of developing into a tropical storm. the name very likely would be hermione unless something else pops up and we've already gotten tropical storm gaston off the coast of africa so let's see where these guys are going. tropical depression fiona looks like it's going to miss bermuda and now just sort of meander a little bit and fall apart into an extra tropical lopes center. we'll see if that moisture makes land. this depression that could become hermione is also on its way toward the east. this one covering to the spaghetti plot models has most of the tracks going close to the turks caicos and maybe into bahamas pennsylvania also into that florida. some tracks have it going farther north and tropical storm gas stone looks like it's going to grow into a category one hurricane and probably slide up into the central atlantic but that's another one we'll be keeping our eyes on. your exclusive accuweather

it's even east of bermuda and it's moving to the northeast right now.nÑi addition to hurricane gast, we have tropical depression number eight, which is right off of the north carolina coast. also tropical depression number nine, whicis heading into the gument of mexico right now. but we'll focus on the two storms that are in the atlantic as we track them over the next three days. gaston will be weakening, just a fish storm out over the open waters. and the same thing for tropical depression number eight. that more than likely will become a tropical storm, will curve often the coast of the carolix not touching land and then heading to the north and east, but between these two systems, they are churning up the waters and sending large waves along the eastern seaboard. so a rip current danger continues into the holiday weekend. all that water that piles up with those large as wells, what comes up must rush back out. and that's what creates those rip currents. only swill on the guarded beaches. if you get caught in rip current, let it take you out. it will
