howard bernstein is looking at the weather live on the terrace and what a beautiful sunrise we saw this yea. just had a sliver of sun coming in just enough of a break to see the sunrise. had a lot of pink and great colors. and we posted it on wusa9's facebook page. my facebook page and stuff you can see it there as well and on twitter. we've got rain coming in. had some great weather but still that brightness to the east on the michael & son weather camera. so some color there but cloudy overhead in northwest. some showers by mid to late afternoon. the afternoon commute affected by and even afterwork and afterschool plans. temperatures get into the mid- and upper 70s and rain this morning into pittsburgh and charleston, west virginia. and roanoke. trying to make its way toward areas in the shenandoah valley this morning. mid to late afternoon. i think that rain were those rain showers arriving here. temperatures very comfortable i'm on the weather terrace now. the winds are light. low to mid-60s. a really fine start@day but i don't think it will finish as nicely with the temps again mid
