let's go to the justice department, julia ainsley, the fallout from the ig report, attorney general bill barr's comments both publicly in statements, plus fto pete williams. so, julia, barr's criticism of the fbi, of parts of the ig report, before he even begins to testify on capitol hill, how much of an impact is that having? >> i think it will have an impact and we'll see horowitz today try to walk a line where he may need to defend the fbi to some extent. we're coming off of a presidential rally where president trump just said that the fbi is scum, going after these institutions. but it is the job of the inspector general to be the independent watchdog, and he goes through a number, in fact, 17 mistakes that fbi officials made during the process of their fisa applications, and his inspector general report, so he's going to have to walk a line where he doesn't take the entire institution and slam it in this hearing but actually does give it some authority. he says that they were authorized in their opening of the investigation, which is countering what the attorney general is saying. and i th
