all i'm asking is to be allowed to meet with bill sanders and talk to come up with a workable system and not rush into this legislation. we have been working with other cities, the city of los angeles for their bureau of street lighting for putting facilities on street lights is exempting local facilities from these permits, that's because the bureau of street lights, just like the public utilities commission, will have full authority as a landlord to do whatever they want in terms of what goes on those poles including any modifications you may be concerned about under 6409. if you exclude city-owned properties you don't have to worry about 6409, you don't have to worry about the telecommunications act. we encourage you to step back, look at this legislation, don't create more legislation that's going to create more litigation. do it right this time. you need to know every one of these poles can come before you on appeal under ceqa already because of noticing. send this back and allow us to meet with the city attorney. thank you very much, any questions? i think that's the last comme

just this week bernie sanders introduced an infrastructure bill to create millions of jobs. that would increase wages for millions of americans. in addition to just employing them. it would affect the entire market. and democrats need to show americans a vision like that. you know i think when we look at the fight in december when elizabeth warren in the senate and the progressives in the house really stood on principle and drew a line in the sand we lost the vote but it had a huge impact. there were quotes for wall street the very next week saying wow, given the fight that democrats just did we'll be lucky if there's not more regulation this next congress that we're now. essentially they went from playing defense to playing offense and having wall street running scared. that's the kind of fighting experience americans need. >> and quickly, the polling that your organization has done proves americans want an increase on social security. they don't want to the privatize it. i ask that question for verification on the poll numbers because the republicans are talking about back

bill passed 93-for. senators from bernie sanders to ted cruz voted for it and everyone thought it worked. it hasn't cost the government and nickel. it will pass easily but unfortunately it got caught up in the machinations of the house and there were some on the house but didn't want this terrorism insurance at all and some were extremely reluctant. i will say this ibb the speaker and majority leader understood the importance of this and i worked with them in the later months of last year to try to get a bill done. and at the end of the day i was able to negotiate a bill with the chairman of the house banking committee who was a reluctant supporter of terrorism insurance and to come up with a proposal that made some changes but kept the program intact. it was a good compromise that is before us here today. it's a little different than the original bill and it extends us for six years. the hundred million dollars limit has been raised to 200, but still the program can function very well under these proposals embody brought it early in the session, i'm glad it passed the house and i'm glad
