if you stay up late - or get up early -- you get another chance to see a so-called 'blood moon' again overnight. the total lunar eclipse begins around 2-am and will be on full view around 3:25 am. the moon will appear to be a reddish orange.the result of the sunlight scattering off earth's atmosphere it's the second total lunar eclipse of the year. the last one was in april. we should be able to see that blood moon from most areas has been around the bay. tomorrow we will wake up the fog, it will be slow to clear which will help things cool off tomorrow night. we will see warmer weather this weekend however, . you can see on fog tracker that most things will be cool so we can see the blood moon. again the blood moon early tomorrow morning, at its strongest around 3:25 a.m.. tomorrow we can expect '70s and '80s and the greater bay area. and you have 60s along the coastline. the blue angels are back during fleet week this week. in a weekend things will warm up, will not be too hot it's a giant party tonight at san francisco, gary will give us the highlights of the game. did you remember

. >> okay, last week there was the blood moon. then came this.asa captured the spooky image of the sun on october 8th, the same day the blood moon cast a glow over the earth. the photo is actually made up of thousands of pictures taken that day. the space agency says the bright spots are markers of an intense and complex set of magnetic fields hovering in the sun's atmosphere. pretty cool looking shot right there. we have some clouds moving into our area right now. so, not really be able to see the moon over the next 24 hours or so. they're high thin cirrus clouds but they'll lower and thicken over the next few days. clear skies especially north of the city. get up towards the lehigh valley and poconos, that's allowing the temperatures to really drop off but notice the clouds moving in from the south and west. most of the shower activity is well to the south across southern virginia. we'll keep things dry through the overnight. clouds will filter in and act as a blanket keeping our temperatures milder tonight holding some of that heat in near the
