demilitarization program, fy 18 funds support continued plan operations in pueblo, colorado, and bluegrass, kentucky. as many of you are aware, the army has been managing large oversea contingency budgets since 2001. this has been an account that ebbed and flowed, its contingency operations expand and contracted over time. the 2018 budget request represents requirements in military personnel, operations and maintenance, and research development and acquisition. this year's multicomponent request totals 28.9 billion dollars. the 2018 request supports operations freedom sentinel and the oar. operation inherent resolve in iraq. the european reassurance initiative in europe. request also includes $4.9 billion for the afghan security force fund. and $1.8 billion for the counterisil train, equip requirements. this is a fund that now replaces both the iraq and the syria training equip fund. the 2.9 billion portion of this request primarily supports mobilized reserve component soldiers and maintains the current in strength levels in afghanistan and iraq. so i know there was some discussion in the

overnight tonight we'll watch a system out of the bluegrass state of kentucky.ding on the track, forecast models lift this farther to the north an bring a good soaking for south jersey and delaware. this model keeps it to the south and it brings the cold front in during the afternoon that brings the chance of thunderstorms to the area tomorrow afternoon for everybody. we'll watch this morning system we how far north it gets, everybody gets in on that afternoon system, it starts to turn unsettled here, as we get into monday and tuesday, the upper level low sits on us, that brings more clouds to the area through wednesday afternoon. 10:00 a.m., we're looking at increasing clouds, it's a nice morning, the first part of the afternoon looks all right, the first system brushing the poconos and the lehigh valley, everybody's should be already. tomorrow morning we have clouds out there, again, we'll wait and see how far north the southern system gets. everybody will see showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon with the approaching cold front. some of them could be on
