we saw people walking down the boardwalk abe i'm standing here on the atlantic city boardwalk near steel pier a few hundred feet from the beach but if you take a walk down the boardwalk there is people, down here, just walking around, they are heading home from the casino, some luck year then others, folks i spoke with told me that yesterday's wind was much more brisk then it is today. if we saw down here we saw a guy a few moments ago riding his uni cycle down the boardwalk. the bird are here. they are chirping. they are making noise. there is wind but it is not really abnormal. but that is on this side. if you go over to the beach and i'll give tommy, my photographer, kudos for this because we will walk over to the beach here and that is where you can tell that there is a storm coming. that is where you can see pretty high surf all they there is not a lot of sand blowing around you can see that there is, some wind here, you can see several feet high waves and i will give him a chance to get over there and show you guys this but there is several foot high waves and they are pretty, pret

we see plentyy people walking along the boardwalk.we're in ocean syssitia, both tonight here on the boardwalk oe youhe can see the crowds here.. also earlier out on the beach when the weather was actually much worse than it is now. we were seeing strong gusty winds and big waves and for now the only evidence of that is of this sand that is blown up here on the boardwalk, a lot of it, other than that, though, really no big issues to report on from ocean city, no major damage and also no major flooding at this point.in there were some concerns about high tide which is happening right about now. people concerned that maybe thih entire area would be covered byd water. but as you can see, luckily that is not happening. i was talking tot the head of te beach patrol here. he says he's worked at the shore for 44 years and here he is what he had to say about his fears about strong currents in the days to come. the ocean looks terrible. it looks scary. people stay away. this coming week it's going to get nice weather. but rip currents are going

but this boardwalk would be typically more packed on labor day weekend. lot of the hotels up and down the boardwalk said they were at 50% capacity. not what you want to see on one of the busiest or what should have been one of the busiest holiday weekends of the summer, of entire year actually. once the weather started to turn, people came back out. remember, we still have labor day tomorrow. so we did start to see business pick up a little bit more. but definitely a little bit of a bummer 23r9...
