bob redell joans us live. you spoke with members of the diocese, bob? >> reporter: we spoke with a chancellor wilcox of the diocese of oakland. he says that list of accused clergy is a living list, in other words he expects that list to grow. this morning, the diocese released the names of 20 diocesean priests, 20 religious order priests and 3 other priests from other dioceses who worked in oakland, that's a list of 45 members of clergy who the diocese determined to be credibly accused in the sexual abuse of minors including 5 of whom not previously disclosed in the public record. now, the diocese says that all of the instances of abuse took place before 1989. there haven't been any credible instances of abuse since 1988. the bishop offers assurances there are no priests or deacons active in the diocese today who have been credibly accused in the abuse of a minor. a lay review board made up of volunteers including a survivor of priest abuse, and a private investigator to conduct interviews. the bishop released a long statement reading in part, my first
