you may remember that bolsonaro never accepted his defeat in the 2022 presidential election.r. many of them stormed government buildings, including congress and the supreme court in scenes that were reminiscent of the storming of the capitol building in the us two years before by some of donald trump's supporters after he didn't accept his defeat in that former election as well. now, as a result of some of those actions at the time, brazil's federal police have been investigating this case now for two years, and they did produce this report on tuesday, which outlined some of the evidence backing up why bolsonaro has been accused of being involved in a coup attempt. it cites several key pieces of evidence in it. to back up these allegations, including a meeting that he called in december 2022 with senior leaders from the armed forces, essentially presenting them, according to police, with a plan for a coup. and asking for their support. now, what the report outlines is that the head of the army and of the air force declined to be involved, but the head of the navy at the time
