a cyclist who was hit and killed while competing in the ironman race in boulder this weekend swerved into traffic according to police. colorado state patrol said that this morning. 34-year-old michelle walters was hit along highway 36 on sunday. she was side-swiped and fell, and then a truck back tire hit that boulder race. >>> a babysitter and two hill girls that she was caring for drowned. this happened in pueblo. police officers and witnesses tried cpr. but they couldn't save them. it happened in a swimming pool at a community home in pueblo. there is never a lifeguard on duty, at that pool. >> we have to be cautious. and are they going to be -- are my kids going to be able to swim in there okay? >> the girls were ages three and five. the babysitter was 17 years old. >> the time now is 6:40. buddy check 9 day. the day we remind you to do a breast self exam and tell a buddy to dot same. we are gearing up for the race for the cure in september. one person who will be there, is denver's first lady and says it is important for everyone to be educated. >> cancer does not discriminate.
