mayor bowser today say metro's safetrack project will impact anyone. mark segraves joins us now with details. >> reporter: good afternoon. mayor bowser stood here at the eastern metro station this afternoon and unveiled a list of major transportation changes all designed to take some of the pain out of safetrack. the orange and silver lines will be the first metro lines impacted. district officials know that means more people on the roads either in buses or cars. to help keep those cars and buses moving, starting monday the district will expand rush hour parking restrictions on several major roads until in the morning and 7:00 at night. bike share will offer $2 one-way trips. there'll be a moratorium on construction projects in public space. mayor bowser knows delays on metro will mean more people choosing to drive in the district. >> if people are choosing to drive, we're asking them to first of all think about sharing that ride. we'll be having conversations with employers. >> reporter: all of these changes are fluid. they're going to monitor traffic
