brad bell is more with how it could help prevent crime around here. brad? brad: the discussion is about the police body-worn cameras. a day and age when everybody in america is walking around with a video camera. they wonder how come every police officer doesn't have them. one of the reasons is money. another reason is they are really concerns about how the video is handled. how it is shot. when it's shot. when it is not. the panel that comes to meet right now as we speak has to figure that out. the police body cameras capture the moment a drunk driver decides to run from officers. when she is taseed after crashing and refusing to give up, it is all on video. there is no argument about what happened. it would seem a textbook use of the body cameras except that for police there is no textbook. that is why the legislature empowered this panel to come up with the uniform policies for body camera use. for instance, when to roll. >> if there is a strip search, it probably should be recorded. actually i think we should exclude strip searches. >> strip searches, j

abc 7 news brad bellabc 7 news, -- brad bell, abc 7 news. maureen: the development in a still unsolved murder case in arlington. this video shows david black arriving home. he declined to comment. it comes after police searched his house this morning. abc 7 news was the first on the scene. he is the estranged husband of body blacked was found murdered in her home on april 17 while her two young children were present. david black has not been arrested in the case but remains the only person of interest. police are searching for the driver in a deadly hit-and-run. it happened at commonwealth avenue and braddock road this morning. the woman involved who was just out for a jog was left to die. stephen tschida is live in alexandria with the latest. about 15 mins ago a spoke with crystal mozel of the alexandria police department. she says police have identified both the vehicle and the driver but at this time no charges have been filed. a lot of people in this very neighborhood are anxious to learn more about the woman who was killed here. witness
