looking at the storm over brentwood, we've seen the most lightning strikes with this one located near byron. after all of that clears out, we'll see our temperatures today reaching into the mid 80s for concourt and 83 for san jose. 79 in santa rosa, so looking at the forecast, and how those clouds will possibly bring us some rain, we're not looking at a lot of activity here. things really winding down tonight. as you're stepping out the door, once again looking at the highs in the south bay reaching into the lower 80s. if you will be holding out, going to some of the hiking trails, you definitely want to watch it as we temperatures in the mid 60s and a mix of sun and clouds by 2:00. the wind will start to pick up, some drier air moving in. this will be the best time to get out there and spend lots of time outside. the next several days after this clears out, we have some nice weathers in the forecast, especially for the weekend, san francisco, low 70s, will be reaching into the mid 80s on saturday. we'll have more on that storm chance coming up, but mike continues with a traffic alert
