because broccoli doesn't sell anymore. bunch broccoli. but not in the napolitano house and a lot of italian houses. i like bunch broccoli. the reason is because you see my mother god rest her soul used to make a wonderful salad out of this. if you want to try something, try bunch broccoli. you can use the whole thing. you're going to take the end of the broccoli here, cut a bit off the stems. take a potato peeler, peel it down. use some oil and garlic, you're going to love it. it's terrific. then of course the tops, you eat like anything else. most people go in and bit broccoli crowns. so when you're buying broccoli, what do you want to look for? well, right now we're going into the springtime. so broccoli is a cold weather vegetable but it's still around and plentiful and it's still around at a reasonable price. you might see spikes in broccoli up and down, up and down. but what goes up in the produce must come down in produce. when buying it, what i want you to look for is unopened buds. actually thousands and thousands of tiny flowers
