. >> i'm sam brock. we start with breaking news. update. a frantic door-to-door search in the south bay is over. police nabbing a group of strong armed robbery suspects moments ago. >> "today in the bay" damian is live in the san jose neighborhood where it all happened. are things getting back to normal now? >> yeah, the last officer left about two minutes ago here. we're on babe ruth drive. this the northeast end of the city of san jose. a hot spot, if you will, for burglarers but this is what police call an attempted robbery here in the city of san jose. police say they have two separate robbery victims in this case. it happened just after midnight and police say three of suspects began hopping fences. they conducted a perimeter search with the help of canine units from sunnyvale police and santa clara police. officers had already made one arrest earlier in the investigation. but they knew there were still three suspects at large. officers found them hiding in the same backyard. there were two adults and two juveniles. only the adults her
