i'm sam brock. >> i'm laura garcia-cannon. let's get to that forecast and see what we are in store for. >> cool and all clear across the bay, none of the scattered showers that we had yesterday morning. so, as you head out, grab a light jacket. it's 50 degrees in the north bay and 54 in the peninsula and south bay and expect highs in the low 0s in san francisco while reaching 80 degrees in the north bay. a lot more sunshine, pleasant weather and that continues as we start out the weekend, but there is more rain in the forecast. i'll show you that a little bit later. let's see how it looks at the bay bridge toll plaza. >> karia few cars waiting off the left approach and maybe one cash lane on either side of the fastrak. as you look at your map, an easy drive heading towards the area and no real problems. we just got reports of a stall or something like that on 101 around san pedro road. we'll find out what we can find out from chp. looking at an easy drive, as well. just 580 at the altamont and speeds around 60. mik back to you

i'm laura garcia-cannon. >> and i'm sam brock. we're starting out cool this morning because that's the case all week and then things change once we get into the day. >> temperatures have been warming up quickly through the late morning hours, we can expect more of the same. as we start out now in the 50s, a jacket needed before you step out the door, mostly clear skies and a lot of sun this afternoon and a high of 75 degrees in san francisco, north bay 83 degrees and 82 degrees in the south bay. it will be a couple of degrees lower than yesterday in some spots, but still pretty warm for this time of year. we will take a look ahead to the weekend and the football forecast. thursday night football coming up. mike, if you are heading across the bay bridge you may want to leave early, right? >> if you are going off of 24 and 580 because there is an unusual pattern here. look at the backup on the left approach, that's the only one with all these folks waiting for cash paying. we had a traffic break 20 minutes ago, i told you about that
