fox25's jason law is live in brockton this morning. jason, you were out there the city's mayor about this. >> yeah, daniel, and this has got to be concerning for parents because barrett russell elementary school is a school exclusively for kindergartners and talking to 5 and 6-year-old children going out here. out here for less than an hour and me and my photographer found seven dirty needles. the problem is the city park next to barrel russell elementary school. an obvious hot spot for heroin police officers came out after we started asking questions and we picked up 14 dirty needles in the park. this isn't the first time we reported on this problem. we shown light on the issue back in august. when we went back yesterday, the day before the first day of school to see if anything had changed, it didn't appear that much had, that the city was doing anything. yesterday i had a back and forth and contentious situation with the mayor of brockton and he still insists that the kids are safe. >> reporter: is it acceptable to have heroin addic
