you're watching cnn, i'm brook baldwin and we kick off with more news on the manhunt. these police dogs have traced a scent, all of three miles from this prison wall here in upstate new york. all of this as we learn this female prison worker suspected of being an police here she is cooperating with police. a source telling cnn, richard matt the killer known as hacksaw made her feel in a word special. right now hundreds of officers are setting up this perimeter, they're swarming the woods, apparently finding a shoe print and multiple food wrappers looking suspiciously like a place these killers hunkered down for the night. this latest lead bringing the sleepy part of the country to its knees. entire highway shut down schools in the area closed armed officers at every, single corner. let's take you straight to the scene live to our cnn national correspondent and given all these new nuggets in the last couple of hours, miguel what's the sense from police? are they getting closer? >> reporter: well certainly hope they are. we are about four miles from that area where the e

i'm brooke baldwin. we have breaking news as far as that manhunt goes looking for those two escapees in upstate new york. first, we have to go to washington because the house is voting on a bill that has been important to the president. he's backed this and went to capitol hill in this last-minute push trying to get members of his own party, democrats here to support this bill to give him the fast-track trade authority. the bill supported in the house largely by establishment republicans face a strong opposition by the democrats and conservative republicans. in effect it would allow the president to negotiate trade deals and give congress only a yes or no vote on them. let's go to my colleague, sunlen serfaty. >> reporter: it's a significant blow for president obama at the hand of many of his colleagues democrats here in the house. there were a series of bills planned to be voted on. first the taa. that went down by a vote of 309 with a significant number of democrats voting against it. that was the firs

i'm brooke baldwin. big day in washington because the united states supreme court saved obamacare and, in turn gave president obama arguably the biggest win of his presidency. let me just bottom line this for you. what happened today, it upholds federal tax credits for some 6.4 million americans who live in states without their own health exchanges. only the federal exchange. so without those credits, health insurance would have gotten more expensive for those folks, not to mention the fact that there would have been yet another political showdown to try and change the law, not to say that that won't happen. we'll get to that in a second. a couple of hours ago in the rose garden the president made it crystal clear that the affordable care act is here to stay. >> this is not an abstract thing anymore. this is not a set of political talking points. this is reality. we can see how it is working. this law is working exactly as it's supposed to. in many ways this law is working better than it's expected to. f
