several new developments out of san bruno this morning.ortunately, the scene here behind me in this neighborhood looks strikingly similar to what it look like several months ago, empty. looking forward to the day when we can report on a brand-new home going up in this area but right now it's all about the money. there was a meeting last night talking about all of the donations that had poured in after the disaster. some $400,000 that people donated to help survivors of the blast. the city's vice mayor and a councilmember defended the slow process they have been engaging in as far as trying it figure out how to hand that money out. they are trying to find out first what pg&e and home owners insurance will pay for so the donated money can then fill the holes. but that explanation was not enough for a lot of people at the subcommittee hearing last night. >> these people have been suffering since september. come on! i mean, you know, i don't think that's right and it's -- and i don't think the city hall has done the right thing. i'm really ash
