it was a big day when 8 year old 'buddy' became a part of denise carroll's family. "everybody came running out of the house when we pulled in with the trailer" she'd been looking for a therapy horse ever since her family lost theirs to cancer two years ago. she got a big break when she reached out online. "he was donated from a lady in arkansas who had him since he was a yearling and did all of his training." all was well in the barn until the kids went to feed him friday morning. "they usually come right up and are ready for their grain and the three horses came up and there was no buddy." everyone searched for hours covering a three mile radius but found nothing. it was a heartbreaking blow to denise, who loves using therapy horses to help children.
