barry burbank here with the latest. >> good afternoon to you. here's the situation with the storm. it looks more organized today than it has. it still is a tropical storm with winds at 65 miles per hour. it looks like it's going to take a track which is going to bring southeast of apalachicola. it's about 175 miles south of that town right now. it's going to make landfall as a minute mull hurricane as it looks right now. that will be the first landfall, falling hurricane in the state of florida in almost 11 years. that's an unbelievable statistic. the last one to strike florida was wilma back in 2015. -- 2005. this moved right along the carolina coast during tomorrow and then just offshore a little bit. from there it gets trapped in the atmosphere. it can't go east, it can for quite a few days. it may actually lose some tropical characteristics and then regain them, whatever. the story is what impact is it going to have on us. as it whirls around, some of the bands of rain will spiral in here. we will have some high seas, rough sees seas. and perhaps northeast gales as well with th
