. >> you consider your the journalism business. -- yourself in the journalism business. how do you balance having quality content that is important? >> you may have read the article. >> you are in the trustworthy business. >> not every story needs to get the same amount of traffic. i think that's the most important thing to understand. when i think about most is this story reaching the people it needs to reach. if we are doing a story on chronic fatigue syndrome and it goes to 60,000 people, and you do a quiz on moments that restore your faith in humanity and that goes to 4 million people, that's ok, because the 60,000 people who read the chronic fatigue syndrome are e-mailing you and sending notes asking if they can translate it into their german journals and whatever. there are so many different metrics we can measure success on, so thinking about everything as traffic is detrimental to the soul and bad for business. >> do you have expectations about how well a certain story should do, or is that more refined than your analytical gas? >> i think i have a general idea w

what we think of as journalism is a permanent thing has never been the case. when i got into the business a very long time ago, we were trying to essentially put our footsteps into the prints of our elders. and almost ciceronian way of doing it. you're inventing a new journalism. that can always be messy. it is also a very dynamic edge. if you are young and thinking about this, you're going to invent the next journalism and that is pretty cool. at it's very exciting. one thing i would add, the disruption in media, the most profound disruption is financial. it is not that the audience has gone away. the audience is bigger and more constant and it has ever been. this is a search for revenue as much as anything else. >> we want to thank our fantastic panel for being here. there was a "wall street journal" article this week showing that small businesses, ones that were supposedo be exempt from obamacare, are not at all exempt. they're having to pay a deep price in terms of their tax implications and regulations and stuff. is that affecting your ability to hire right now, obamacare? >> it is not affecting my ability to hire people in this market. we have 100 jobs we'll add between now and end of the year. that being said, double-digit cost increases that we've been experiencing year-over-year in health care costs, are just unsustainable for any size of business, whether it is small, medium or large enterprise. david: unsustainable, why, specifically? >> unsustainable because if you thinkabout, just gdp growth from country standpoint, growing slightly over 2% year-over-year. as an employer when your health care costs go up between 12 and 25% a year to your entire employee base, it is not sustainable. it is too much, i can't hire more people because i'm having to spend more money on health care. david: morry, if it wasn't for obamacare, would you be hiring? >>
