we're seeing some of that along the a-c expressway through camden county and gloucster county and the northern edge of atlantic county that stuff farther into atlantic county is not as pronounced. tacking -- taking you outside, wet conditions in center city. we'll have wet snow that will have t basic effect on the roadways. winds sustained at 17 miles per hour. we'll see higher gusts and during the afternoon very high gusts. you can see the colder air to the north and west of us, changing that over to snow as that comes in, we'll see that change here, as well. in the lehigh valley, rain mixing with wet snow, high winds high temperatures only in the 40s today. probably low 40s, more of the same down the shore, no wet snow in all likelihood, mostly rain, tidal flooding will be an issue tonight and tomorrow morning, and temperatures are in the low 40s for today. in philadelphia, we might pop up to 43, we'll spend most of the day on or about 40 degrees, windy, the rains picking up to 50 miles per hour, some issues with wet snow we might have small accumulations. future tracker 6 has wet s

heavier snowfall, if places like new castle county, delaware, salem county, new jersey, gloucester, camden, part of burlington have been included now, in our winter storm warning. again, with those snowfall rate of an inch or two per hour at the height of the storm. so, weaver our storm forming. it is getting cranked up now. off shore we've been talking for couple every days about the transfer of energy here, and there you see, this ohio storm weakening as the strength starts coming to the off shore storm. but, this is way ahead of the storm, all of the precipitation we're getting right now, so with this thing expected to be with us, through about 7:00 or so this evening, it has a long way to go. but, we have few dry slots here, lehigh county, north of allentown, we have some places cents where we see some heavier snow, potentially falling around west depford, around runnemede, cherry hill, in new jersey, adventurous trip down the a.c. expressway with some snow changing over to rain as you make your trip. some heavy rain around bridgeton, new jersey, possibly a mix of rain and snow there.

here's a live look at center city, philadelphia, from the aqua cam in camden. the cloud base has lifted, so that's good news in terms of the heavy rain starting to subside. now we walk you through the second and third changeover. you will see the ponding of water on the roadway, but it really is midday through the afternoon we're concerned about for strong and potentially damaging winds and the changeover to snow. southern montgomery county, so abington, down towards glenside, and springfield you're in the snow with 50 mile per hour winds. that's tropical storm force wind gusts even here in philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. and that continues at 9:00 tonight with potential snow falling. up in the lehigh valley this is where our concern of sticking snow is this morning through this evening. at 7:00 this morning you can see the changeover happening. winds stepping up. as you can see 50 to 60 mile per hour gusts here as well with the snow especially in the higher l elevations. if you're up on one of those higher elevations you'll see the snow. down at the leer

colder air is fit erring in, and moving a little further south, in the counties of gloucester and camden and salem county, as well. we've got the snow kind of piling up in delco, right now, seeing steady snow here in philadelphia. >> whether it gets cranked up it will pile up on the roadways, winds could affect the power lines and the trees coming down because of the heavy wet snow and reduced visibility this afternoon, that's when it will be at it worse, remember, we said 11:00 , the window of time temperature in the three's, snow coming down little harder, 33 degrees so with the temperatures in the 30's in the case where it is raining in the 40's, 35-mile per hour wind gust, so that's happening, as well. our temperatures will stay in the 30's, throughout the day. we are expected to stay mostly snow in the philadelphia area. but, it is that heavy wet snow, as the winds pick up, gusting to 30 miles an hour, or more, and higher wind gusts at the shore. so, mike masco; outside, you're seeing the snowfall little harder, and little heavier, are you feeling the wind pick up out there, too? >>
