i always tell my friends, i went from capitol hill where hello mr. chairman would you like a drink mr. chairman to no you're not getting second round of oatmeal, scum bag, move on. different attitude in prison. when i went in, i immediately met some people and i got to be frank about this, i became friends more with the people who were in there for drug offenses than the white collar people. i became more friends. first of all, they didn't whine as much about prison. they were more street savvy. they would never had a chance to meet a member of congress. a lot to share. light of minorities, african- americans and latinos, said we would never had an opportunity to meet you in congress. i would answer questions in some of the classrooms and talk to them about jobs and resumes. i received a lot back from them. but the first initial part is terrifying for anyone, especially myself because i went from a lawmaker to a law breaker. some people in prison said, you made the law to put me in here. you did that to me. of course, you try to say you broke the law
