good morning. >> good morning, carol, trouble indeed. we're learning from reports from a newspaper in france that he had been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and he had severe depressive symptoms. we're hearing that he took two drug one an antidepressant and one an injectable anti-psychotic drug. we don't know if he took these drugs once or over a period of years. it is really not clear. what is clear, what investigator investigators have found there was this note from a doctor say saying he was, you know, of medical excuse basically, he shouldn't be working. certainly, when a doctor writes that it gives great concern, also the fact he was taking -- the thought he was taking an anti-psychotic medication one wonders was he hallucinateing, was he delusional? is that why the doctor wrote the note? at this point we don't have those answers. as you said of great concern. >> could some of these drugs cause vision problems? we hear rumors he had a detached retina or vision problems for another reason. what do you say? >> one of thes

hi fred. >> hi carol. yeah the iranian government for a very long time has been saying they believe the republicans are trying to humiliate president obama. it was interesting because there was a very swift and a very strong response from the government here in the form of a statement that was sent to us by iran's foreign minister. and in that statement on the one hand he did take offense to the fact that in that letter that the gop senators wrote they also said that maybe the iranian politicians were not fully aware of the u.s. constitutional process. he says they are fully aware of the constitutional process and he said that they believe that if there is some sort of agreement, that that would be legally binding for the united states. they have to legalize that's not the only policy. if anna agreement is made it will be between iran and various other countries including the united states but certainly not the united states alone. now as you said before the iranians came forward and called this a pr ploy.

>> reporter: well carol. this was some type of training mission involving the marines special operations unit from camp lejeune in north carolina. it's a black hawk helicopter that apparently went down. the aircraft assigned to the the hammond, louisiana, national guard. they were participating in a training mission overnight. the soldiers on board with the national guard as well. that helicopter was reported missing about 8:30 last night, the first debris from the chopper was located by a search and rescue team. around 2:00 in the morning. now this is still being described as a search and rescue operation, but as you said all people on board are presumed dead. so we haven't heard any official reclassification of that search and rescue effort. nonetheless, it's clear that the military doesn't think this looks good for the people on board. >> this helicopter took off last night. there was heavy fog in the area. tell us more about the conditions. >> right. heavy fog. it's not clear at all whether the visibility
