. >>> but today is saturday, october 11, good morning, i'm todd quinones, meteorologist, carol erickson live on the cbs-3 skydeck with eyewitness weather. carol? >> good morning to you, todd. notice, i have an umbrella at the ready. it is right here. but i don't really need it that much at this point. so the precipitation we're seeing is pretty light, at least coming down here on skydeck. let's take a look, see what we have out there this morning. cool temperatures, certainly, we have readings of 50 degrees, in pennington, 53 dover, broomall, 49 degrees, bethlehem, 48 degrees, so it is a cool start, and as todd mentioned, it is also cents a rainy one. see the rain coming over the area, and more to come. but it should be moving out by this afternoon. so we will hold it to that. fifty-three in philadelphia, right now, 51 in trenton, 54 degrees in wilmington, and as we look at the day and how it shapes up, it doesn't get very warm around here. our temperatures this afternoon about 60 degrees, now, again, we should be getting rid of the bulk of this precipitation by 1:00, 2:00 at the latest

meteorologist carol erickson is on the cb is s3 sky deck with the eyewitness weather. good morning, carol a lot better morning this morning then it was yesterday morning when we were dealing with the rain. that was one of the worst looking saturdays we have had in a long time but today we will make it up for it. we have sunshine. the it is beautiful out here this morning. we will look at storm scan three and notice any clouds out there are starting to leave. we will be left with the sunny day, there is in precipitation in our forecast and that is a a big change from yesterday when it was just so dreary all day long but that story has changed. we have a frost advisory though that goes until 8:00 this morning up in the poconos for temperatures of course are cooler in that area. right now, it is 32, now just dropped to 31 in the poconos, and, excuse me. thirty-six in allentown. forty-seven in the philadelphia area. it is much warmer then by the time we get to the i-95 corridor and points south of that. our weather getting to 64. yesterday we stopped at 67. sunny and really

in atlantic city, carol erickson for cb is s3 "eyewitness news". >>> all right. just past 7:43. let get the our forecast. how are we looking today. >> it looks beautiful, we have high pressure building in briefly for our area a sign of things to come right now off to the west. with us about this same time yesterday we had nothing more than a little sliver of clouds across the the central united states and now you guys are bubbling up with heavy thunderstorms back through basically the entire mid mississippi valley right new and that is generally just the beginning of not just a soft frontal boundary but what will become an area have have of low pressure that develops along this frontal boundary that will stall out. we have high pressure today. stalled front starts to lift in tomorrow. we will eventually draw in some of this moisture. this is moisture over the desert southwest, that used to be associated with what was tropical storm simon. that is also getting drawn in. so the the whole mess, ends up meaning that we have got wet weather issues starting tomorrow afternoon, peeking

lets start with meteorologist carol erickson in the weather center.d morning carol. >> it is wet but mild but not wet in every location because we are starting to see improvement in a lot of places and some of these these showers will be ending relatively soon. let look out there right new and fine dark center city and within with clouds over us but things will be getting better this have afternoon. this day is in the a wash out. we will head out to the reading area and see wet reds out there 65 degrees, wind south east at the 1 mile an hour and a mild start to the day in every single location. the here's storm scan three and notice we will see some showers and we have got some through salem, cumberland counties, see them through central and southern delaware but they are not in the philadelphia area right now. a few more could be because some are down in maryland and moving up but notice there is geography in between these spots. so we have got some clearing that will be arriving later on today and not everybody is even in the rain right now. 68 degr
