"today in the bay"'s kris sanchez is in the newsroom. what are police saying at this point? >> antioch police say they know that two people ran from the scene of that crash, and while officers and paramedics tried to save the driver's life, it was too late. this all happened in the parking lot of that 7-eleven store on hillcrest avenue not far from highway 4. it was about 7:40 last night. officers found the driver in the seat of his car, not breathing. police say it appears the driver was shot at least once inside that dark gray toyota sedan. despite life-saving efforts at the scene, the driver did not survive. witnesses told police two people ran from that car after it crashed. they have not yet been found. now, detectives with the violent crimes unit are handling the investigation and they're w
