you play karen cartwright, an actor going for her big break on broadway.ow much does her experience compare with your own? >> all, you know, the last five or six years there's been as comparisons between me and my character. there are a lot of things that i relate to karen, but there are things i don't relate to. it is wonderful to play something that challenges you and is different from yourself. >> you do singing and dancing for this role. how intense is it for you? >> we have been shooting since the end of august. i had a lot of dance rehearsals in the very beginning. the first three or four months i was constantly in dance rehearsals. it was great for me because i had not been in dance class and i was probably 16, 17 years old. i kind of had to reawakened my dancing side of my brain. it was wonderful. i had so much fun. now the schedule is so busy that in between shooting scenes they are trying to teach us choreography for the next episode. it has been kind of crazy schedule. in the beginning, especially, i have been doing a lot of dancing. >> karen's
