these are honestly all, you know, cavers are kind of family. these are people i knew.by my side that i knew would get me out. so getting to the surface wasn't a question. it wasn't like, is this going to happen? the moment of full rescue got there, i knew i would get to the surface. it was fast. it was really fast. once we started moving, it happened a lot faster than i expected. man, i was happy to get to the surface and see those stars and smell the fresh air. >> i have no doubt. >> that was a good moment. >> i'm sure it was. we know there were over 200 rescuers there, doctors in the hospital who are helping you right now. but then there's your partner jessica. she jumped in to rescue mode immediately. she said yesterday, i knew i had to leave immediately to make sure i could go get help. is there anything that you'd like to say to her? >> thank you. no, like if there was any -- i'm alive because of the rescuers. i'm the lucky face of all these people who are the real heroes, essentially. but jessica is the one that saved my life initially. she saved my life period.

this morning, there is progress in the effort to save that american caver who became ill during an expedition in turkey. we told you about this last week, mark dickey suffered gastrointestinal bleeding while more than 3000ft below the surface as rescuers have now brought him halfway out of the cave. we're told it could take a few more days, though, to complete the rescue mission and get him out. >> and more life saving moments have been caught on camera in florida. >> this happened just outside of west palm beach. that is 12 year old austin mcmillan pulling jason paquette from the bottom of the pool. austin turns away to call for help and he slips back into the pool again. jason slips back in. so mcmillan goes back over and pulls him out again. he then describes what happened next. >> and i gave him cpr. and where did you learn to do that? i just saw on tv. i wouldn't be alive if it weren't for him. he's an absolute hero and he always will be. >> just saw it on tv. >> austin's family hosted a cpr class for his friends and family this weekend to spread that knowledge. we keep getting these rem
