meteorologist cecily tynan live outside with a look at that forecast. >> hi monica. this could be the last day this warm until next year and really it's been unseasonably warm all week long. on tuesday the temperature 6 degrees above normal, wednesday 10 above, thursday 11 above and today so far 13 degrees above the normal high of 75 degrees, so, yes, this is the first full day of fall but it certainly still feels like summer. but if you look at temperatures across the northeast, philadelphia is 88 but syracuse it's only 60 degrees and burlington vermont it's 58 degrees. it's 30 degrees cooler than here and there's a back door front that will be moving through tonight and what that will do is bring us that cooler air. satellite6 along with action radar showing unfortunately it's moisture starved. this will bring us clouds overnight so no rain but this will usher in the more seasonable air mass for the first weekend of fall. future tracker showing saturday afternoon instead of temperatures in the upper 80's only in the mid 70's and sunday morning if you're getting up

meteorologist cecily tynan is at the big board tonight with the latest from double scan radar.er is going to be starting as sent ends with more rain. double scan live showing the system that continues to pull in moisture from the atlantic. we're getting a break now but if you look here you can see this batch of showers and thunderstorms off the coast of the carolinas. that's moving north. so that will be moving through here in the overnight hours into early saturday. that will bring us another round of rain. how much rain you got really depends on your location. north of philadelphia it wasn't that much. one to 2 inches but also a you head farther to the southwest more and more rain and areas in sussex county and southern kent county delaware seven to 12-inches of rain and that has caused a lot of creeks and roads to flood so a flood warning has been posted until 6:30 for most of kent county delaware and sussex county. if you're heading to dover, big race weekend, do be careful driving there. the good news is as we head through the weekend the weather will be improving but it's
