visitors information center. it was a freudian slip because it improved tremendously and it couldn't be in greater location. so all the visitors that come to san francisco from the airport stop right there and come here for information on things to do in the city. it's tremendous for me to be the general manager because i have concierge but the volunteers and the people here are an extension of concierge and giving information for all the visitors that come in and make this a world class city and really visit all the areas, the restaurants, the attractions and everything else this city has to offer. i want to thank again san francisco travel because they are the ones who market tourism, no. 1 industry in san francisco and again i want to thank you. i want to thank the volunteers. as mayor lee has said, you are the ones that truly breathe live into this city. and you give out information with just such authentic and hospitality to all the visitors around the world. they go back and tell their friends and tell them

this mostly centers around the family centers. so this is about child development. just a little bit more about our race to the top challenge money. that is a federal award we were given a grant for 3 had the $3 million. we are target our sites for children. we also are working in calibration with 5 other bay area that have received race to the top money. it's for efficiency and also that our families move around the bay area we want all the families to when they move they'll believable to assess the child development programs. we're also collecting a lot of data altogether and sharing assessors and the evaluation data and that's pretty exciting. harvey dunkin' is coming next week because we're the race to the top site is exciting. we're trying to promote school readiness this money is given us to so we can do qualify improvement services. they wanted us to build this high quality setting in the neighborhood where we have the lowest schools. but all our schools about benefit from the funding there. so here now john walked out - but here's our sustainability. we do h

this is effecting decreased hours as recreation and senior centers. we're really trying to avoid institutional facilities. i know my chimes are ripping here but d s p.s. go we're mandated by law and they're using this for an excuse to lay people off. your technology coordinator lost his job and that might not be legal >> good morning. i'm a student at city college. i want to voice my opinion on the accreditation related to city college. i wanted to give a little bit of my story are city college has given me a second chance out of high school i wasn't prepared to go straight into a four-year but the city college has provided that he with that. i'm on track. and i've bend so much and if we continue to put education, you know, aside, you know, a lot of people, you know, have the are smart and capable, you know, we're going to be i guess not giving them the opportunity to succeed. and some of the city colleges are producing some the leader and many of my peers are going on to higher institutions. so, please keep city college in mind >> good morning, mr. c
